About
Sloppy sits, or puppy sits, are when a dog does not sit in correct form. This might look like uneven knees, a pelvis rolled backwards, or rear feet pushed forwards. Whilst this might look cute as a puppy, it isn't a good thing for a large number of reasons! This webinar will cover: * Looking at the indicators of poor form in a sit * Discussing the reasons for poor sit form * Using equipment to correct sit form * Sit strengthening exercises * More advanced exercises working on the transition into a sit This webinar would be perfect for anyone wanting to correct your dog’s sit form, prevent a sloppy sit from occurring, increase your dog's strength and duration in a sit, or smooth and strengthen the transition into a sit. Remember that if your dog has had health, or orthopedic issues you should discuss the suitability of this, and other canine fitness training with your dog’s main healthcare professional. It is particularly important in a sloppy sit to rule out any orthopedic cause for this sit posture. If you are otherwise unsure if this is suitable for your dog please contact Kelly.
